Salt Air Ventures duck hunting guide service offers a productive and unique experience along North Carolina's Southern Outer Banks, an area rich in water fowling history. I will take you "Down East", near Cedar Island where we’ll encounter blue bills, redheads, buffleheads, canvasbacks, gadwalls, teal, widgeon, black ducks and a variety of sea ducks and even swans.

"I will do my best to ensure your party has a successful duck hunt and most importantly an enjoyable outing."

All duck hunts are done from stake blinds around areas inside of the reef. If the area is too deep to wade, I’ll be close by with the boat. A normal hunt departs from the boat ramp at 5:30 am and returns around 2:00 pm. Like waterfowl hunting everywhere, weather dictates a lot of the duck’s daily movements, days when it’s sunny and calm are typically much harder hunting than cloudy, cold windy conditions. Please remember these are wild ducks, unfortunately I cannot guarantee success.
Things to bring: waterproof clothes, waders, flashlight, sunglasses, small cooler with drinks/snacks, binoculars, Valid NC hunting license, federal signed duck stamp and reliable shotgun.
